Delete your Orizuru account
Orizuru is a Japanese learning app by the Orizuru team. An account is optional; if you made one, you can delete it and everything stored with it at any time.
Delete it in the app
- Open Orizuru and go to the Profile tab.
- Under Account, tap “Delete account”.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.
No longer have the app?
Email hello@orizuru.fyi from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account. We will confirm and delete it within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account: email address and sign-in details.
- Your profile: name, avatar colour and profile photo.
- The learning progress and settings saved to your account.
Nothing is kept on our servers after deletion. Progress stored on your own phone is not affected; uninstall the app or use “Reset progress” in Settings to remove it.
